Watch President Obama’s Immigration Address LIVE

The buzz is that President Obama will kick-start a push for comprehensive immigration reform during his trip to El Paso, Texas.

In the past weeks he’s invited three separate groups of Latino leaders (some political, some celebrity) to discuss immigration and the best plan for achieving a comprehensive reform. It was a principal promise of his presidential campaign and many Latinos believe that his inability to deliver on that promise in the first year of his administration was a let-down. Others anticipate this speech as another in a list of promises made.

The Washington Post has a pretty good advance of what the President will say: Keep the National Guard on the border, among other things.

Judge for yourself. You can watch the speech LIVE here. It’s scheduled for 3:30pm, EST.
