Latino Church in Georgia Vandalized for Third Time

It happened in the city of Dalton, in Northwest Georgia. The congregants of the Mundo de Amistad church found late last week that seven of the church’s large window panes had been broken by gunfire.
This is the third time that someone has shot through the church windows. The first time happened in August of last year, when one window was shattered. Then, in the last two weeks, two more incidents happened, one where two windows were broken and the latest one that destroyed seven.
Pastor Gilbardo Guerrero told Chattanooga’s WDEF that he was dismayed. “We don’t live in New York. We don’t live in those destructive cities. We are a peaceful, I mean South community.”
The church has been in Dalton for 27 years and the pastor says his payers are for a united community.
Here’s something you can do: “If you would like to donate to the church, they set up a Go Fund Me page.”
