George Lopez in talks to replace Trump on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’

George Lopez is in talks with NBC to take over as the face of “The Celebrity Apprentice,” after the network severed ties with Donald Trump over his comments about Mexicans.

Representatives for the Mexican-American comedian — whose stand-up routines often tackle race relations — have been talking to NBC, but discussions are in a very early stage, multiple sources tell Page Six.

One source said: “There have been initial conversations with George Lopez’s representatives, and, given Donald Trump’s crazy comments, George would be the perfect loud response to Trump.”
