PASCO, WA – It’s been nearly two months since police officers shot and killed a man in Pasco.

[Last night] several Latino groups gathered at the site of the shooting and talked about plans for a march for justice for the man killed, 35 year old Antonio Zambrano.

People from the Washington Dream Act Coalition, and MEChA say they are unhappy with Governor Jay Inslee’s decision not to direct the state attorney general to appoint a special prosecutor in the February 10th police shooting.

They say that decision leaves the investigation in the hands of entities with conflicts of interest.

The groups are planning a vigil and a march this Friday and Saturday.
