A new poll of registered Latino voters in Chicago gives Jesus “Chuy” Garcia a huge lead — 61 to 18 percent — over Rahm Emanuel in the race for mayor.

But the majority of the 406 registered voters polled — 65 percent — said they’d not been contacted by representatives of either campaign.

“There is an untapped great opportunity for both campaigns,” said Oscar Chacon, executive director of the National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities.
