Beer makers, don’t exploit Latinos

In matters of Latino unity, the prevailing stereotype is that Mexicans, South Americans and Puerto Ricans don’t get along.

But if ever there was a reason for all Latinos to come together behind their Puerto Rican brothers and sisters, it was to support their outrage against MillerCoors for using a semblance of that commonwealth’s flag to hawk beer at the upcoming New York City Puerto Rican Day Parade.

To encourage Latinos to drink more is not only indefensible but, from a corporate social responsibility perspective, was simply appalling.
