Jazz de México
Not that I was expecting the world to come to an abrupt end today, but I was a little curious to see what would happen at the end of the Mayan calendar. I can count three things that make sense as of today:
One, is that the Mayans talked about the dawn of a new era of understanding and consciousness. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
Two, is that the old Mayan calendar is now less useful than the ancient abacus.
And three is that we made it to another Friday, so it’s time for Jazz de Mexico!
It’s the best Latino jazz musicians and composers, brought to you by San Antonio KRTU 91.7′s Jorge Canavati, recorded in the studios at Trinity University.
This program was first broadcast on KRTU.
