Joe The Plumber: Put Fence On Border, Start Shooting

By Victor Landa, NewsTaco

Remember Joe the Plumber? The blue-collar, all American,  Tea Party poster boy  who took then candidate Barack Obama to task on the campaign trail over taxes to small businesses? Yeah, that guy. His name is Joe  Wurzelbacher, and he’s running for congress in Arizona. He’s got his own idea for immigration reform. As reported in the Prescott News:

“For years I’ve said, you know, put a damn fence on the border going to Mexico, and start shooting.”

He said that at a campaign rally for Lori Klein, you can watch a video of the rally, posted by the Prescott News, HERE. Klein, who’s running for re-election to the Arizona House of Representatives,  has refused to condemn Wurzelbacher’s remarks, but it should come as no surprise. RT.com reports:

Speaking on the Senate floor in 2011, she maintained that “most of the Hispanic students do not want to be educated, but rather be gang members and gangsters.”

The day after making his remarks at the Klein rally, Joe the Plumber doubled-down at a “Patriot Rally,” according to RT.com:

“I’m running for Congress. How many congressmen or people running for Congress have you heard [say], put a fence up and start shooting? None? Well you heard it here first. Put troops on the border and start shooting, I bet that solves our immigration problem real quick.”
