Complaint claims school district discriminated against Latino students (CNN):  Two advocacy groups filed a federal complaint Tuesday alleging a North Carolina school district’s treatment of three Latino families was discriminatory because it did not provide important information in Spanish.

Arpaio Motion Says Civil Rights Act Doesn’t Protect Spanish Speakers (Fox News Latino):  The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office says the Obama administration’s lawsuit against it should be dismissed because the Civil Rights Act does not address discrimination based on language.
