State Dept To Hold First Ever Press Conference In Spanish

The State Department is set to hold its first ever press conference entirely in Spanish, according to a release. According to a statement:

On Thursday, March 8, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. EST, the U.S. Department of State will host the first-ever Spanish-language press briefing on current U.S. foreign policy issues.  Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs Mike Hammer will respond to questions in Spanish from the podium in the Department’s press briefing room.
