AFL-CIO Launches Spanish Website, YouTube Channel

The AFL-CIO has launched a website and YouTube channel in Spanish, aimed at “workers, activists, elected officials and reporters,” according to a release. The Spanish push is part of the organization’s outreach efforts to engage Latinos and “provide useful information about workplace rights and ways to improve their standards of living.” Latinos are set to make up 74% of U.S. labor force growth in the next eight years, according to the statement.
