Guapura 101: A Little Eyeshadow Can Make Your Eyeliner Pop

This week’s tip comes from my actual face, upon which I applied a little eyeshadow before I applied eyeliner in order to make the eyeliner stronger over the weekend.

The way it works is, first, you find an eyeshadow similar to the color of your eyeliner. With a thin brush, sweep your lash line with the eyeshadow, as though it were a lighter version of your eyeliner. Then apply your eyeliner on top. What this does is make your eyeliner appear more bold and solid.

If your face is anything like mine, eyelashes aren’t always a straight line, which means that sometimes when you apply eyeliner, it may appear bumpy or not totally solid. By applying eyeshadow first, you avoid having to use a ton of eyeliner, and you get a clean, neat line.

What do you think?
