NewsTaco Weekly Roundup: October 23 – 30, 2011

There’s a lot of great stuff on our roundup this week, so I’ll make my intro brief. There was a cool story about Latino hipsters, a roundup of our Halloween coverage, some alarming stories related to immigration and civil rights (for all of us), a Latina feminism treatise,  La Lloronathon launches in Phoenix, East LA’s accent, the Army and Latinos in the sciences and trying to get music greats El Chicano and Linda Ronstadt into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.
