Latino Fashion Week (LFW) is only Fashion Week, Nov. 1- 6, in the United States that was created to support the talent of local, national and international Latino designers.  LFW is the premier resource institution for those in the Latino Fashion Industry. The Windy City will once again become the talk of Fashionista’s at our 5th Year Anniversary, with the theme of “Art in Fashion.” LFW will be highlighting and honoring the art that is fashion. To further grow and share a greater understanding of that art, we will be holding fashion events, artistic displays, lounges, and a three day Expo, with a variety of creative and educational communications.

In partnership with the Zhou B Art Center, we look forward to having an amazing group of artists for the following exhibition which will take place all week:  “CelebrARTE” is a contemporary art exhibition that celebrates the Latino spirit, imagination and creative force, curated by Sergio Gomez for the Zhou B. Art Center in collaboration with 33 Contemporary Gallery.

Venue: Zhou B Art Center – 1029 W. 35th St., Chicago, IL 60609

Rumor has it, or at least “Tony” will tell you, that he was the first Latino Love-child of a recent Governor of a west coast state. Even if it is not true, its gotten him backstage entrance into more concerts than most of us will see in a lifetime by the time he was 21. These days Tony is OurTiempo’s resident music aficionado. You can usually recognize him as the tall Mexican in the room hanging out with his Jack Russell Terrier. Why, we always ask? “Cause real men have small dogs” he tells us.
