Guapura 101: What To Do About That Lady Mustache?

Recently a friend and I were discussing our lady ‘staches and the ways in which we deal with them, so I figured we weren’t the only ones. Hair removal is one of those terrible and nasty problems that never really gets discussed, even among friends, so here at News Taco we thought it’d be great to tackle this issue head on.

Waxing — The consensus was that this is harsh on your face and can result in either burning or damaging or ripping off skin.

Hair Removal Cream — This has its pros and cons. The pro is that it’s relatively painless, but you may have to do it often. The con is that it may burn your skin if you’re sensitive, leaving you with a pink and scabby upper lip instead of a hairy one.

Threading — It’s relatively painless, lasts a long time and doesn’t leave any marks. Again, if you have sensitive skin it may bother you some.

Shaving — I have friends who do this and swear by it, I personally have never shaved my face for fear that the hairs will grow thicker.

Laser or Electrolysis — Laser hair removal works well on non-facial body parts from what friends said, but no one has tried it on their face. It’s painful in the short-term, but very convenient in the long-term.

So there you have it, breaking it down. Did we miss any and/or do you have other suggestions?
