I remember back in the 1990s when I first heard King Changó’s frenetic single, “Don’t Drop Your Pants” I thought I had stumbled onto the best thing to his Latin rock in a long time. Turns out, that single doesn’t truly represent the band’s often soft, reggae-ska sound, nonetheless I was never disappointed by this New York via Venezuelan band.
