Guapura 101: Sparkly, Glittery Body Shimmer

So I’m not the fanciest girl in the world, but one of my favorite ways to get dressed up is to add some body shimmer to my arms, shoulders, neck and chest when I’m going out. Of course this is a summer-ey kind of look, but that’s never stopped me from busting out my shimmer when it suits me in the non-summer months.

What is body shimmer?

One time a sales girl at a makeup store offered to throw in some body shimmer with the other makeup I was buying. And I fell in love with it! Basically, it’s like a loose powder that’s shiny. When you powder it all over your body, you look sparkly — but not too sparkly. Just nice.

I think that’s what I like about this particular cosmetic: it’s not overly done and it’s pretty. Of course there are different brands of shimmer you can buy, they come in liquid form, too. It just depends on what you’re going for. My shimmer is bronze-ey but a gold one would probably also be nice.
