How Will You Commemorate Cesar Chavez Day?

Last year on this day President Barack Obama signed a proclamation officially marking March 31st as Cesar Chavez day.

I’ve been reading and remembering this morning. I’m not among the fortunate who knew Cesar, marched with him, or worked with him. But I’ve known of him, directly from people who carry his spirit; from people who did know, march and work with him. So the point of this post is to make sure that many others know of him as well.

I would suggest that you commemorate Cesar Chavez Day, at the very least, by leraning more about him and telling at least one person what you know. Here are a couple of places to start:
