Tía Rosita’s Arroz Con Leche Recipe

I’m not a huge rice fan, but seriously, who doesn’t love arroz con leche? That’s what I thought. My Tía Rosita shared her scrumptious recipe from her Cuban friend with me, and I thought I’d share with you all, too. The best thing is — for lazy cooks like me — it’s super duper easy!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of water
- 1 cup of rice
- cinnamon sticks to taste
- 1 can evaporated milke
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
- Boil the water, rice and cinnamon sticks together until it comes to a boil.
- Add evaporated milk, whole milk, bring heat down to a simmer.
- When most of the liquid is evaporated, add the condensed milk and vanilla.
- Cook a little bit more, until everything is mixed, then turn it off.
- Serve with cinnamon on top for garnish.
