2012: A Latina First Lady, Named Bush?
Look who popped-up as the Wall Street Journal‘s number one person to watch in 2011: Jeb Bush, son and brother of President’s George and George.
Jeb, they say, is worth eye-balling because
“The former Florida governor has been unusually quiet since he left office in 2007, but that’s beginning to change. He is weighing in on education reforms across the country and has taken over a Republican effort to woo Latino voters. Mr. Bush insists he isn’t looking to run for president in 2012, but any further moves in that direction would suggest that Republicans see President Obama as vulnerable—and the current assortment of potential GOP candidates as weak.”
Another Bush for President, and he’s married to a Latina, a Mexicana named Columba (That’s not her in the picture. The pictuired woman, who looks disgruntled but probably only bit her lip while chewing gum, is Florida Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen).
‘Member George 41’s little brown one’s? Those were Jeb’s kids, all grown up now and ready to stump and shake hands with crowds. 2012 election handicappers have penciled him in.
