Ask a Mexican vs. Tom Tancredo

In something that seems to be right out of a post-modern “Twilight Zone,” Gustavo Arellano of the “Ask a Mexican” column that appears in alternative weeklies across the country and failed Colorado gubernatorial candidate (and one of those anti-immigrant guys) engaged in a debate of sorts about why Latinos aren’t trying to take over the country, destroy it, or something to that effect.

Lalo Alcaraz of “La Cucaracha” fame and Jim Gilchrist of crazy Minute Men fame also chimed in. A good time was had by all. I’m not sure why engaging in debate with former-whatever white dudes no longer holding office is necessary, but I admire that people like Gustavo are up to it.
