Guapura 101: Masquing Better Looking Skin
Buenos días todos, this week’s Guapura 101 is a trick my mom taught me, which is Queen Helene’s Mint Julep Masque. See it here. We’ve previously given tips on using Vitamin E oil for your face and biotin for your hair and nails.
Queen Helene’s Masque like a mud mask, but it’s green, and basically if you have oily or combo skin like me, it’s really helpful for zapping the oil out of your pores, shrinking/drying up zits and giving you a nice glow on your face. I’ve even done this to my boyfriends — or at least the really oily spots on their faces, like their noses, for example — and it works for them, too!
You just wash your face, dry it, then place a thin layer of the mask on your face. Let it dry, and how you know it’s dry is that it feels dry and also the color changes from a sea green to an almost white color. You wash this off your face and apply lotion and your face will feel much softer — guaranteed!
Next week I’m going to expand on this and talk a little bit more about facial maintenance. Enjoy everyone!
