Nielsen: 40% of New TV Homes Latino

Nielsen, the company that measures audiences on TV and elsewhere, has announced that 40% of TV homes in the upcoming 2010-2011 season will be Hispanic. This is an increase of 400,000 homes, a 3.07% increase for Hispanic homes, which is more than the total increase in TV homes of .87%.

Last season Hispanic TV homes increased by 2.3%, which would mean that this number is growing pretty steadily. The number of Asian and African American TV homes also increased, slightly.
