Latino Republicans Withdraw Support For Romney, Endorse Gingrich
A group of Latino Republicans wrote a letter to Mitt Romney calling him out for some of his positions, withdrawing support for him, and throwing it behind Newt Gingrich. The letter noted that some of these positions include: a veto of the DREAM Act, the fact that he considers it “dishonest” to say he’s Mexican-American, and not providing us solution for immigration reform. The letter lauded Gingrich’s positions on these matters, and was signed by people such as: Former U.S. Treasurer Rosario Marin, President of Bromley Communications Lionel Sosa, actor Eduardo Verástegui and Chair of the National Republican Hispanic Alliance Florida Nancy C. Acevedo.
