Starving Ethiopian Children Concerned About U.S. Default
The U.S. is racing against the clock to reach an agreement on the debt ceiling. Financial institutions threaten to crumble and American citizens fear that their fundamental fiscal world will soon be no more.
Upon hearing of the imminent disaster from two gossipy Red Cross workers in a nearby town, a group of Ethiopian children stopped sifting through heaps of trash in search of food and expressed their concern for U.S. citizens.
“It sounds pretty awful. I hope that won’t diminish the U.S.’s credit rating or their overall financial standing in the world. If you’ll excuse me, I think my buddy over their just found a thimbleful of rancid rice being guarded by wild jackals.”
The young children proceeded to sift and promised to donate their best findings to beleaguered U.S. citizens.
