Top 10 Latino Music Albums Ever

Latinopia, a new Latino arts and culture website we wrote about yesterday, published a list of the top 10 Latino music albums of all time. I can definitely see agreeing with some of them, but not necessarily with all of them — where’s Café Tacuba’s “Re,” for example? Yet, it’s hard to argue with most of this list, check it out:

  1. Santana’s Abraxas (1970)
  2. Los Lobos’ Just Another Band from East L.A. (1977)
  3. Perez Prado’s Big Hits By Prado (1960)
  4. Selena’s Dreaming of You (1995)
  5. Celia Cruz’s La Incomparable Celia (1958)
  6. Little Joe y La Familias’ Para La Gente (1972)
  7. Tito Puente’s Dance Mania (1958)
  8. Linda Ronstadt’s Canciones de Mi Padre (1987)
  9. Thee Midniters Greatest Hits (1965)
  10. Buena Vista Social Club (1997)
