Top 10 Latino Music Albums Ever
Latinopia, a new Latino arts and culture website we wrote about yesterday, published a list of the top 10 Latino music albums of all time. I can definitely see agreeing with some of them, but not necessarily with all of them — where’s Café Tacuba’s “Re,” for example? Yet, it’s hard to argue with most of this list, check it out:
- Santana’s Abraxas (1970)
- Los Lobos’ Just Another Band from East L.A. (1977)
- Perez Prado’s Big Hits By Prado (1960)
- Selena’s Dreaming of You (1995)
- Celia Cruz’s La Incomparable Celia (1958)
- Little Joe y La Familias’ Para La Gente (1972)
- Tito Puente’s Dance Mania (1958)
- Linda Ronstadt’s Canciones de Mi Padre (1987)
- Thee Midniters Greatest Hits (1965)
- Buena Vista Social Club (1997)
