30 Million U.S. Latinos Online
I was sent an amazing graphic recently that illustrates many statistics of the 30 million Latinos in the U.S. who use the Internet, according to several sources. Here are a few interesting facts from the graphic, which you can see in its full size here or here.
- 30 million total U.S. Latinos online in 2010
- 19 million are either Spanish preferred or bilingual
- 11 million are English preferred
- The median age is 36
- Median household income is $77,000
- 59% are Mexican
- 80% speak Spanish at home
- 41% have at least 1 year of college
- 2.3 million use Facebook in Spanish
- The top uses for the Internet: online gambling, message boards and video games.
