Latino Pops Obama in the Kisser

By now you probably know that President Barack Obama was inadvertently hit in the face while playing basketball and required 12 stitches. What you may not know is that a Latino was the one who did it. The man’s name is Rey Decerega, who works for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute.

Decerega elbowed Obama during a pickup basketball game Friday; the president needed the stitches in his upper lip. Decerega released a statement:, “I learned today the president is both a tough competitor and a good sport. I enjoyed playing basketball with him this morning. I’m sure he’ll be back out on the court again soon.”
