Mexican Food Named ‘Cultural Heritage of Humanity’

Oh! The humanity! Seriously.

We all know I’m a beaner, but now anyone who calls themself that is officially classy. The U.N.’s Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) named Mexican cuisine an “intangible cultural heritage of humanity,” along with trivial cuisines like, you know, French cuisine. This proves what I’ve been saying all along, that Mexican food is truly one of the best things on this Earth (especially the beans!).

There’s a lot more about the eloquence, scrumptiousness and what-not of Mexican cuisine at the link, but right now I’m still thinking about the beans. I say, good for Mexico, and the world for that matter, for finally figuring out what the rest of us already knew on gut instinct (especially at 2 a.m.!).
