Fiorina & Whitman ‘Go Latino’ and Drink Tequila

The GOP has stooped to a new level of racial profiling in California, where gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman and senatorial candidate Carly Fiorina tried to court Latino voters by drinking tequila. Specifically, they drank tequila, let out a grito, and then Fiorina said all speeches should begin with a shot of tequila.

Yeah, because that’s how Mexicans do all their speeches, drinking tequila before opening their mouths.

Quoth she:

“Mucho gracias. This evening has spoiled me forever, from now on, I want to follow Paul Rodriguez [the emcee], and I think every speech should begin with a shot of Tequila.” Then she let out a yell, “It was great!”

Is it really 2010 or am I just imagining things?
